Our Brokk Demolition service taps into the potential of compact, electric, remote-controlled demolition robots available in various sizes (90, 110, 170, 250, 260, 330). These robots boast the unique advantage of being compact enough to navigate standard man doors while packing the punch to handle extensive demolitions, even in environments where fumes are strictly regulated or in hazardous areas where conventional excavators prove impractical or unsafe. With a remarkable 360-degree rotation capacity, Brokk robots seamlessly maneuver through elevators, tackle staircases and stand as one of the safest demolition tools in the industry. Equipped with both front and rear outriggers to ensure stability on uneven terrain, along with state-of-the-art remote control for operator safety and precision, the Brokk can expertly excavate, break, crush and remove substantial concrete areas. Its power source versatility includes the option of being powered by our trucks or generators up to 300 feet away or integrated into your job site. The Brokk’s versatile capabilities encompass digging pits and trenches, demolishing walls reaching heights of up to 20 feet and effortlessly crushing concrete walls with minimal noise and vibration.
Our chain sawing services represent the pinnacle of precision. These specialized handheld saws are designed for creating precise openings in masonry or concrete structures without the drawbacks of overcuts. Our highly skilled operators excel at using chain saws to square corners and eliminate over-cuts, minimizing the need for extensive patchwork. The chainsaw, widely known for its remarkable ability to “plunge cut”, achieves cutting depths of up to 25 inches. Concrete core drilling offers our customers a cost-effective method to create openings for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and sprinkler systems. Our highly trained, OSHA-certified operators employ cutting-edge equipment to safely and precisely drill holes ranging from ¼” to 66” in diameter, at any angle or depth. For specialized requirements, our Circular Wire saw can cut at unlimited diameters and depths, accessible from both sides. With access to the most powerful concrete core drilling equipment, we ensure efficient and flawless hole drilling for diverse applications, inside, outside, above ground, below ground or underwater, we can get it done.
Our curb sawing service is the solution to precisely trimming curbs or parapet walls to road level without the need for extensive excavation. Equipped with a track-mounted hydraulic saw, we guarantee the results you need. Additionally, we employ high-production, ride-on curb machines built to withstand the demanding task of cutting extensive lengths of curb in a single day.
These ride-on curb saws are exceptionally well-suited for projects involving road or bridge expansion, where substantial amounts of curb or parapet wall require precision sawing. Powered by high-horsepower units with integrated hydraulic systems, they significantly enhance productivity. Egress windows are openings at the top of a basement wall visible outside the house below ground level. They may be required to meet local building codes to create a safe escape route for occupants. They can also provide natural light and ventilation for basements, and increase property values. Improper DIY can be dangerous and cause structural damage to your home if not done properly. ABC Cutting Contractors can quickly and easily make the necessary openings for windows to be installed. However, we do not install windows or sub out their installation.
Grooving and grinding can be used on concrete and asphalt surfaces, including bridge decks, airport runways, taxiways, aprons and parking decks. Grooving creates a microtexture to roughen the surface, help channel water away, provide skid resistance and improve traction in wet weather conditions. Grinding is a cost-effective means to remove surface imperfections with diamond blades to create a smoother surface, provide for friction correction and enhance ride quality.
The ability to locate subsurface items before excavation or demolition is absolutely crucial. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) emerges as the ultimate solution, offering a safe and precise method for detecting and accurately mapping targets concealed beneath the surface in concrete or soil. The GPR technique relies on the transmission of an energy pulse towards a subsurface target, recording both the pulse’s strength and the time needed for its return signal. Through a comprehensive series of transmitted and received signals, spanning a designated area, GPR unfailingly provides a digital window unveiling the presence and location of subsurface objects. Hand saws are the go-to choice for achieving flush cuts with existing surfaces, making them ideal for crafting window, door and mechanical openings. From shallow quarter-inch decorative sawing, sawing for utility trenches indoors and out, patch repair in parking lots, roadways, and interstates, control joints in slabs and bridge decks, to high-production long-line highway sawing projects up to 30 inches deep – ABC employs the right equipment to get the job done right. Determined by project specifications and environmental conditions, we have electric saws ranging from 5 to 40 horsepower and gas or diesel saws ranging from 5 to 120 horsepower. Clean-burning Tier 4 for spaces needing high production above electric but require strict emission requirements.
ABC also offers surface prep grinding utilizing rotary diamond segmented disc grinders ranging from 5” up to the very productive 32” planetary head grinders for stripping, re-profiling, eliminating high spots, lowering elevation of slabs, as well as roughing up slab areas. We employ wireless remote operated grinders for safety and to reduce operator fatigue ensuring consistent accuracy through the project. These grinders are also utilizing high CFM HEPA dust vacs to contain and bag dust from the larger particles and then filtered out down to the extremely fine dust particles. These applications can be performed with gas or electric powered equipment to meet you needs.
