Johnson Brothers Bridge Project

ABC was the primary cutting contractor for all the demolition of the bridges working for Lindamood Demolition and Johnson Brothers out of Texas. ABC performed the cutting of the bridge decks as well as bridge column supports to assist in the demolition of the bridges. ABC also assisted during the construction of the new precast bridge segments making any cuts necessary for Johnson Bros to make a perfect fit. Once all of the segments were set and the bridges were constructed ABC had to assist one more time with the largest of the scopes ABC had on the project. This was assisting in taking down a total of 60,000 sq ft of concrete deck down 1” which consisted of 84 different locations across the project to match the surrounding bridge segments. This was an extremely time sensitive project to keep Johnson Bros on schedule with ALDOT. ABC was able to complete the work by working 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, as needed, to complete the project ahead of schedule.
